There are two main forms of underfloor heating, namely electric systems and water systems. Both of these designs are extremely effective and can be used as a practical heating solutions for your property or individual rooms.
- Electric Underfloor Heating – Electrical systems rely on the installation of electrical cables to generate heat. These electrical cables can be stretched across the whole floor to provide even heating throughout your property.
- Water Underfloor Heating – Water-based underfloor heating relies on the installation of water pipes under the floor. These pipes are connected to a heat source and a water pump. As the water is heated, it is pumped through the pipes beneath your floor. Water-based systems operate in much the same way as traditional radiator.
